How does it work? Simplicity is the key! 1)Fold inward the top inch of the diaper.(Back for Girls, Front for Boys) 2)Fold in one side of the diaper leaving the front to flair out. Do the same for the other side.
3) With baby in place fold the diaper back on itself, tucking the front flaps under the back flaps.
4) Using the Snappi closures,(these take the place of old school diaper pins) snap the sides first, giving the snappi a good strech for tightness. Then snap the lower front, again streching for tightness.
5)Put on your favorite diaper cover and you are ready to roll!
Why is cloth better than disposable? There are many advantages that cloth diapers have over single convenience/practicality. Our "Facts" page has detailed explanations.
Do cloth diapers leak? No diaper system is without deficiencies at times. There are going to be some 'classic messes' from time-to-time. They are just as 'classic' whether the diaper is cotton or disposable. With the use of a diaper cover, general leakage is not a problem.
Can you swim in cloth diapers? Yes. Many people simply use the pre-fold cloth diaper with a cover. However, if you feel that this is too bulky, there are cloth swim diapers available. (www.wildflowerdiapers.com/catalog.php?category=99)

How does a diaper service benefit the community? Environmentally: Landfill space is a significant issue in all communities, especially in a rapidly growing area such as the Western Slope. Disposable diapers generate four times as much solid waste as cloth diapers. Economically: Most disposable diapers are manufactured in other countries, including the two largest companies: Pampers are manufactured in Saudi Arabia and Huggies are manufactured in Australia. By using a cloth diaper service, you are supporting a local small business and consequently, your local economy.
How to keep the diapers on without using pins? With the no-pin diapering system, the pre-fold cloth diapers are held on by a three pronged elastic Snappie system. This eliminates safety pins and all the dangers associated with pins and children. The cloth diaper is then covered by a water-proof, velcro diaper cover (shown below).
